Loans for Auto & Three-Wheeler Drivers
There are two quite different routes to financing a three-wheeler, and they suit different people. The Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation runs an 'Own Your Auto' scheme structured as 50% subsidy and 50% bank loan - but it is restricted to minority communities, and to applicants aged 21 to 55 with annual family income at or below ₹2,00,000, holding a valid three-wheeler licence, in GHMC or Ranga Reddy district. If you do not fall inside those limits, that scheme is not available to you and it is better to know now. The commercial route through NBFC three-wheeler finance has no such restriction and some lenders do not require income documents, but the cost sits in the fees rather than the headline rate.

Why Auto & Three-Wheeler Drivers Get Better Rates
50% Subsidy Where You Qualify
The TGMFC 'Own Your Auto' scheme is structured as 50% subsidy and 50% bank loan. The eligibility conditions are narrow and are set out in full on this page.
Commercial Finance Without Income Documents
Some NBFC three-wheeler schemes, including TVS Credit, operate without income documentation, which suits drivers whose earnings are largely in cash.
Tenure up to 48 Months
Commercial three-wheeler loans commonly run up to 48 months, which lowers the monthly outgo on a small ticket size.
Know the Fee Structure
On these loans the fees matter more than the rate: processing fees run up to 5.9% including GST, foreclosure 3-5%, and a bounce charge of around ₹500 per instance.

Loan FAQs for Auto & Three-Wheeler Drivers
The scheme is restricted to minority communities - Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Jain, Parsi and Buddhist. Applicants must be aged 21 to 55, have annual family income at or below ₹2,00,000, hold a valid three-wheeler licence, buy a CNG or LPG three-seater, and reside in GHMC or Ranga Reddy district. If you fall outside any of these, the scheme is not available and a commercial three-wheeler loan is the route to look at instead.
